Service Advisor
Hontech Automotive has been in business under the same ownership for over 25 years. Earning the coveted AAA Quality Service Award the last four years running, we have gained the reputation of being the premier service facility for Honda and Acura vehicles in San Diego . We are a high volume, fast paced shop that prides itself on top quality work, efficiency, and customer service like none other.
In response to repeated and growing demand from our customers for the addition of Toyota/Lexus service, as well as the opportunity to "grow the business", we have now entered the Toyota/Lexus market. To meet our growing needs we are looking to add the right individuals to our team. If you are an experienced Service Advisor and possess the desire to make a great atmosphere even better, you may be just what we are after.
You must be able to accomplish the following customer service operations in an efficient and exemplary manner: perform opening and/or closing tasks; schedule appointments; generate estimates; perform post inspection follow-up, build updated estimates, and perform sales; build customer rapport; and perform post repair follow-up.
The following skills/qualifications are required:
- Able to type a minimum of 35 wpm
- Possess good problem solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Outlook and MS Word
- Be a team player with a strong desire to learn
- Have good writing and records keeping ability
- A willingness to maintain high service standards
- Good communication skills (listening, written, and verbal)
- Able to understand and adhere to company policy and procedures
- Self motivated bringing enthusiasm and a positive attitude to the team
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and handle work of diverse scope and complexity
- Some technical aptitude with an understanding of automotive components, systems and their interactions

Toyota/Lexus/Honda/Acura Technician

If you are an experienced technician with a Toyota/Lexus background willing to service Honda and Acura vehicles as well, and possess the desire to make a great atmosphere even better, you may be just what we are after.
You must be able to accomplish service operations including inspecting, diagnosing, repair and replacement of automotive parts in an efficient and exemplary manner. Diagnostics and repair of the following systems: mechanical; fuel/injection; emissions; drive-ability; electrical; ABS; TCS; SRS; cooling; climate control; steering; suspension; exhaust; brakes; drive-train; and preventive maintenance.

- ASE Certified
- EA Smog Certification (preferred)
- Have good writing and records keeping ability
